50th Anniversary - Special Events Calendar
October 4 -Former pastor, Rev. Bill Simons will speak and a reception will be held during the Sunday School hour.
October – Former pastor, Rev. Larry Focht will be our guest at worship one Sunday, as his health permits.
October 31 - Anniversary Gala 7:30 pm until 11- We’ll be spinning platters of the 50's and 60's for dancing. There will be refreshments and plenty of opportunity to visit with current and former members. All former pastors have been invited, also.
November 1- 50’s Sunday - Our first organist, Charlie Stoops will play and our first pastor, Rev. Bill Speers will be our guest. Our pastor, Rev. Norm Evans will bring the message. A reception will be held during the Sunday School hour. Everyone is invited to attend in 50's attire.
November 8 - Rev. Raymond Brooks, former pastor at Mount Olivet, will bring the message and a reception will be held during the Sunday School hour. This is the date that the first church organizational meeting was held.
Please plan on being present at as many of these activities as you can. We will celebrate together and praise God as we look back at 50 years of service to our Lord. |
